ABOUT US

Menzelinsk Skydiving Center is located in the beautiful Kama River Valley near Menzelinsk city, an old beautiful town in the heart of Russia. It is a friendliest dropzone. Safety is paramount at Menzelinsk Skydiving Center; from state of the art equipment to the very experienced staff; we take every step to ensure that your skydiving experienced is first rate. It is a well rounded dropzone that caters to the student as well as experienced skydiver. Menzelinsk Skydiving Center provides the knowledge, skill, and expertise to make your first jump or any jump successful and memorable. The experienced staff will make sure that every jump is the safest jump you have ever made. Our qualified instructors and state of the art equipment will help you make the most of your skydiving experience.
We offer a wide variety of service and jump options. Our services include first time skydiving courses and advanced solo skydiving instruction. We also offer video and still photo services for your skydive.
Our drop zone operates 2 jump aircrafts on a regular basis, L-410 and An-28. The are powerful aircrafts that takes 20 jumpers to 13500+ feet in under 15 minutes. Because of its reliability and safety, An-28 and L-410 are perfect aircrafts for Tandem, AFF, solo, and group jumps. We are understandably proud of our flight department. Our airplanes are maintained to the highest standards. We use professional pilots who are trained and retrained specifically for skydiving operations in our aircraft.
We also have a wide variety of rigs available for rent. From 230’s to 150’s and everything in between. We have fully trained and experienced riggers on site to help with any rigging problems you may encounter during your stay at the DZ.
Menzelinsk Skydiving Center has a large (1700×800 meters) grass landing area with many “outs” and alternative landing areas around the dropzone.
For spectators we have picnic and bar-b-que facilities located close to the parachute landing areas. You and your friends are welcome to use these facilities!

IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO SKYDIVE!

Tandem skydiving is the easiest, safest, and cheapest way of getting sixty seconds of freefall under your belt. At Menzelinsk Skydiving Center, we’ll take you almost three miles in the air with our 15000 feet Tandem Jumps.
With about a half hour of instruction, you will gear-up (jumpsuit, harness, and goggles) and ride up to at least 15000 feet. Then, while harnessed to a fully trained and licensed Tandem Master, you will leave the aircraft together and freefall to an altitude of about 5000 feet, a trip that takes over a minute. Yes, more than a full minute of falling at approximately 120mph.
Once the parachute has been deployed, you will have four to five minutes of time to enjoy the view, learn about canopy control, practice for the landing, and just enjoy the ride. You will assist in guiding and landing the parachute at the drop-zone for a safe, soft landing.
Of course, all equipment is provided. Think of Tandem Skydives as working with training wheels. When you learned to drive a car, you didn’t go out on your own first. If you were learning to fly (which is what skydiving is), you wouldn’t immediately solo. Instead, you’d first go through dual instruction with a licensed instructor.
We offer video and still photographs of your skydiving experience. A freefall photographer begins by capturing you while you’re gearing up, boarding the turbine aircraft, an interview in the airplane while climbing to 13,000 feet, your freefall and landing. We then edit your video to music. You may choose a selection from our CD collection or bring your own. It’s a fantastic story for you to keep and share with your friends and family. And to remind yourself that you actually did it.
DO YOU WANT TO BE A SKYDIVER?
The Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) program is the industry standard for achieving your skydive certification. In only eight jumps you can receive your certificate that allows you to jump by yourself.
AFF is often call the ultimate experience. After a thorough training program, you and two jumpmasters/ instructors will make a skydive from 15,000 feet. Each person wears his/her own parachute and you, the student, will pull your own ripcord.
The AFF program begins with a First Jump Course, and then follows with 7 levels of in-air skydiving instruction.
The AFF First Jump Course consists of a six to eight hour ground school in which you will learn about the equipment, emergency procedures, aircraft procedures, climb out,
Levels 1, 2, & 3 require two freefall Jumpmasters (JM) to accompany the student. These dives concentrate on teaching basic safety skills such as altitude awareness, body position, stability during freefall and most importantly, a successful ripcord pull. On level 3, the JMs will release the student in freefall for the first time, to fly completely on their own. Levels 4, 5, 6, & 7 require only one freefall JM and teach the student air skills such as turns, forward movement and docking on other people, front loops, back loops, “superman” exits, etc. Each AFF level is designed to take one jump, and requires the First Jump Course before the first jump. Training for subsequent levels is completed in about 30 minutes of training. After successfully performing the objectives of each level, the student moves on to the next level.
